My parents don’t know where I got it from and neither do I but I enjoy it with a passion. I am of course talking about the boating bug, that special something that makes your heart skip a beat when you see a boat on the water, any water, any boat. I have had a wide range of experiences on both motor and sail boats and owned a variety of them over the years. I have known both the pleasure of being under way in perfect weather and also the frustrations when things don’t go quite according to plan.

How do we do it?
We meet every customer face to face who is selling their boat, we gather information on the boat and owner while aboard the vessel and take up to 65 quality digital images to back up our findings and impressions of the boat. With all this information on the web, Boatshed clients make a more informed decision on whether to travel to see a particular boat.
Our Services
We offer a full brokerage service on a simple "no sale no fee" basis. We offer support, advise and guidance for both vendors and purchaser throughout the boat sales process.
Our commission rates vary from 4% to 8% depending on the value of your vessel.
We also help with Marine Insurance, Finance, Yacht registration, boat transport by road or delivery by sea.
We operate under the rules and codes of practice of the British Marine Federation. We do not own any of the boats that we sell.

Our web site is promoted in all the major boating and yachting magazines as well as on other major international boat search Web sites.
Since Boatshed's launch in 1998, Boatshed has won several high profile Internet awards.
The Boatshed principles of "simplicity", "ease of use" and "fast loading" are strictly adhered to.
