River restrictions

When: From Wednesday 21 May to 06:00 on Monday 16 June 2014
Where: Henley Reach
What’s happening: Henley Royal Regatta course construction
The Henley Royal Regatta course is being constructed during the above dates. The following restrictions will apply to all boats, including power driven, manually propelled or sailing, which are navigating anywhere between Henley Bridge and the downstream end of Temple Island:-
All boats travelling downstream must navigate on the Berkshire, Remenham side of the river within the regatta course.
All boats travelling upstream must navigate on the Buckinghamshire, Fawley Court side of the river.
Boats may cross from one side of the river to the other provided they do not impede any boats travelling up or downstream.
No mooring is allowed within the regatta course booms at any time.
No mooring is allowed to the bank in the vicinity of the site of the former Fawley Court Boathouse.

When: Saturday 24 May 2014 – 10:00 to 17:00
Where: Kingston Reach, Horsefair Quay, Kingston Road Bridge, Kingston-upon-Thames
What’s happening: Kingston University River Clean Dive
The most Easterly arch of Kingston Road Bridge will be closed to navigation between 10:00 and 17:00 on Saturday 24 May whilst divers from Kingston University are carrying out a river clean dive. The divers will be removing litter and underwater debris from the Thames such as shopping trolleys and bicycles.
The remaining bridge arches will be open to navigation as normal.
